TESL-0110-E01 Unit 4 'aha' moment

Hello!!

This week has been a long one, but I'm glad it is finally coming to a close. I'm happy to be finally finishing my TESL grammar course, my knowledge is still very limited, but I plan on improving it over the summertime before my next TESL course.

My 'aha' moment for the week was when I learned about unforeseen problems in a lesson plan. It never occurred to me that my teachers had possibly adjusted their own lesson plans during class if it wasn't working out. It makes me nervous to think that the lesson plans that I'll make in the future won't work when it comes to enact them, and I might have to create something new last minute. 

Unforeseen problems aren't something any teacher can prepare for, and that's a fact that I will have to get used to excepting, because I'm sure at some point or another it'll happen to me. 

Unforeseen problems: It is possible to anticipate potential problems in the class and to plan strategies to deal with them. But however well we do this, things will still happen that surprise us, and which, therefore, cause us to move away from our plan, whether this is a temporary or permanent state of affairs.
