Hello!!
This weeks 'aha' moment was when I was looking at the differences between English and Japanese. I have a little experience learning Japanese because I took a beginner course during my first year of University, so I already knew a few of the things being said on the page, but one thing that never crossed my mind was the phonology. Many Japanese speakers have problems pronouncing the 'th' sound that the English language has. Also, the reason many speakers will insert a vowel between consonants when speaking in English when it's not supposed to be there, is because it makes it easier for them to pronounce.
Just some things to think about if you're teaching!!
