Common expressions (e.g. greetings, description of symptoms).
Intonations and when to use them (e.g., raising the pitch at the end of a sentence to indicate a question).

Learners need to use:
Appropriate tone and body language in order to be perceived as polite.
Strategic competence
Learners need to be able to:
Ask questions about the medication (e.g., dosage instructions, side effects).
